Is the hydraulic oil coming back to tank when not using any hydraulics? Is there any way that they could have adjusted the throw of the 4th valve somehow?

Ok well 1st thing is i would swap out the anti freeze for some 15w-22w hydraulic oil. Make sure to bleed the system completely of air. And then slow the motor down. What sort of percentage of the...

When you say a PVR valve i presume you mean a Pressure reducing valve? You will need a way to control this valve. Why do you want to get rid of the 4th valve may i ask?
