Re: Volvo EC300D

Wow, that works better. Glad you got the pump speed / volume figured out. Nice looking mill. I have been away and had to go see if my BF30 was still where it was supposed to be. You will love the...

Re: CAT 374D L

After seeing the work on your grader, I am sure this will be an amazing build. I am in awe at what some people can accomplish in a scale model.

Re: My dozer I have been wanting for a while.

Nice! The thought of buying a ready to run or sort of ready to run machine gets pretty tempting sometimes ... but somehow I resist.

Are you going to make any big changes to it, style wise or keep...

Re: 990 cat loader

Wow, that's pretty impressive. When I see how much work goes into a project, I feel less bad about not making time on my own stuff. I like those holes but I would hate to do them manually with a DRO.

Re: Steamer

Nice conversion Rob. I like your fabrication work incorporating the styrene. So what are you going to use to load it?

Re: my oil field truck

Great looking truck! Now that you have done a single front axle bed truck though, I really think you need to do a twin steer (or if you prefer, tandem/tandem) bed truck. I live in BC so never see...

Re: Espeefan's slow motion Peterbilt Heavy Hauler build

I guessed tank fuel supports .. in my head.

Re the Omega Drill, I was amazed at how well the Omega Drill worked. I first flattened the top of the broken endmill with an expensive endmill purpose...

Re: Espeefan's slow motion Peterbilt Heavy Hauler build

The steps look amazing! It's amazing how much work can go into one part. I have broken off small taps and drills and it is not fun. I understand about being fearful of breaking off a tap. Although...

Re: Volvo EC300D

In regards to elliot330's comments about his Jung pump versus the Damitz pump. The Jung pump in the ADT's is the IP1Z-HR3 (4001) .18cm3 pump which pumps 520ml/min at 20 bar and 3000rpm. This pump is...

Re: Direct drive pump

No idea about runtime with a 5065 (which is significantly larger than a 4250). I don't have one and just remember seeing someone on a German forum mention it versus a smaller motor with a 3:1...

Re: Direct drive pump

I did some testing with a 4250 size 350kv and it struggled to restart the pump above 15 bar. I have seen on some German forums reference to a 5065 size motor being used instead of a 4250 size. Here...

Re: Another Tigercat...

You could use the MFAComo Drills 940D 100:1 gear motor, max torque 416 oz-in and as inexpensive as $32.31 USD (for 10 or more) at Technobotsonline in the UK:

Re: Another Tigercat...

Looks great. If you have to wait too long you could bring your parts here and use my mill with rotary table or DRO with Bolt Hole Circle function.
