Absolutely... this is by far a better way to document a build....Way easier to search and find things...
Yes...it is harder to post pictures it take a couple extra steps but I don't find that all...

I also agree...
Since this thread was started in 2016 it seems it was a worry back then too.
Blender is right there are a whole lot more options available now still kind of pricey in the 1/14 size...

Hmmmmm.
with 1 and 2 slaved +100 and -100 any change will affect forward and reverse ( I assume)
You could try changing 2 to -50 just to see what happens or maybe adj the power curve to come in...

That sounds like a good start.. only weak point might be the cheap ESCs... might have to consider a QR 1060... if they become a problem

Well.. at the top it's about 10 or so mm narrower.... at the bottom where the lip sticks out it's about 10mm wider... about half way down from the top it's the same width....inside edge to edge it's...

What the heck... give it a try it's easy to shorten them...
For whats it's worth I have the Euclid and the rock wagon.... if you have a question I can always dig them out and measure or check...

Side mirrors

Just wondering.... I want to put side mirrors on my little dodge dump truck, if I push them out from the body so they would be far enough out to see past the dump bed they look kind of "odd" sticking...

Now that you mention it.....looking at those chains, it looks like if the doors open any more they may over center then bind... Might be better if they open just a little less so they can't do...

I never thought about that ... but yeah I can see where you would need either a planetary gear or a worm gear to hold the boom in place once you stop swing...
I used a 90 degree worm drive motor in...

Really want to see how you mount the motors and the rest of the electronics. Looks like the power unit might give you enough room...

Looking at that link you posted the 6v and 12v motors have the same specs. Except the 6v motor pulls more current...
Plus like I said if you drive a 12v motor at 7.2v your 17rpm becomes about 10rpm...

Based on your findings I wonder if a 23 or 30 rpm 6v would work... I've started ordering more 6v motors.
12v running on 7.2v cuts speed and torque almost in half... but a 6v running 7.2 give you...

it would have to be TINY....is there a piece of plastic tubing small enough that you could cut a slot in the bottom then just slip the antenna in the top and glue it in...
