Re: 2015 Kansas Truck Show April 17-19th

I put a Futaba 4YF 2.4ghz in my first one. Its only 4 channel but it suits my needs just fine, and it was only $100 from Evilbay.

Re: My First Truck Build

Update, new grill and bumper from Russ are on. Wasn't sure about painting the black in the grill but went for it and glad I did. Air cleaners from IHB are great. A few tidbits from Evilbay to...

If you use the GT Power set, can you add the cab lights? Any tips on what you would need to do that?

Thanks,
Chris

My first build was a blue/white color scheme I have seen on many trucks that I really liked. My second one (thoughts currently in progress) will be something really striking.

Keep in mind, you...

Re: Project "OverSized" Pete 379..

How far forward to you move them? Are you just clamping them to the stock springs?

Thanks,
Chris

Moving KH Front Axle

I have read where many of you said you moved the front axle forward on your King Hauler.

I'm curious how you did this. New suspension, new springs, modified the existing springs? I assume you...

Re: I think it's 1 gage

Steamer is right, that is a beautiful and valuable locomotive; escpecially if it has not been steamed. Not to mention the fact that it is 31 years old. If you have never fired a live steam...

Re: My First Truck Build

It was a real pain to get a quality paint job out of. It looks nice, but not quite what I want. I will say I started with the same color in the Dual Paint & Primer series, that really didn't work. ...
