fender sides were drawn in cad and printed to scale and then just traced onto styrene, used some thinner stuff and just glued to the top of the side pieces.

been thinking about a dump truck for a while, had an extra short globe cab left over from the other project, and ended up doing a trade with "stuff" for a mercedes rig with an awesome FGD plow and...

stretched the cab and got some aeromax skirts on, actually ended up looking better backwards and still need to stretch them a bit to reach the fenders

some grinding, some glue some styrene, some filler...you can see where the chop top is going to be

lengthened about a 1/2 inch, ground off the hood vents, extended the cab and fenders down,

i built a boat trailer with semi trailer axles, i cut the axles in the middle, then used some brass tube of a little larger diameter than the axle to get the with needed. slide the plastic housing...

i think in the long run, it's easier to buy a kit or a used truck and then modify to your liking. that way you will have all the screws, trim bits, etc.

i think rear axles are about 40, the front...
