Mike, I didn't see that this was posted. You could use a dual motor controller from robotmarketplace to run the drive.
I heavily gut out the inside of it and it is tight to get everything in...

Thank you very much. The Tonka trucks and Dopeke Unit crane are right at 1/16. IMHO they look ok with the Tamiya 1:14.5 stuff though because they are so close in scale.

Unless you are using mini giant axles it wouldn't help to explain how I mount the leaf springs on them because they have mounting points with balls (for the suspension links) and I mount off of them....

One more thing that is important if you try cables..not only does the width have to be the same on both ends but, the pivot point has to be very close on both ends or you would get a lot of slack...

Cables in an "X" pattern would probably work nice. The most important thing is the attachment points on both the back of the truck and the trailers steering have to be the same width so that both...
