Thanks dabears and good question! The trailer axles are slightly off centre to the rear of the trailer so as when loaded the weight on the hitch (nose weight) is positive but most off the weight is...

Its been a while but have made some progress on the Merc, chassis is now painted, 3rd time lucky! I had a few issues with the etch primer:mad:

I think its turned out ok now though:)

The're an exact match for Tamiya and come in 1m lengths for around 20 euros a pair.

Hey Dev, the gearbox was the easy part, just followed the instructions in the book;) The real bummer is trying to figure out whats missing:confused:

With a computer radio you can set the dual rate switches to mimic the action of the trims and therefore use all of the mfu's functions, I've done this with futaba's and a dx7s

thanks for clearing that up, I was thinking of doing the same, shame to lose the hitch/un-hitch sound though:( although I have considered connecting it to a receiver operated switch.

MFU question

I have a question about the fifth wheel switch on the mfu, when the trailer is on the motor gets full power in all gears but I was under the asumption that without the trailer it would get 50% power...

They are 1/10th scale 1.9 crawler tyres which I found on ebay, 95mm high, 36mm wide with foam inserts.
