Re: Wheel Modification

Thanks for compliments guys, they are appreciated.

I did consider that option but felt that trying to line up that many holes to be able to consistently center drill them all out would be just...

Re: UK RC TRUCKER NATIONAL GATHERING

That is an absolutely amazing layout! You guys are really lucky to have an event like that. I'm sure it must take an incredible amount of planning and work to create. Was all that road way and...

Re: W900 Studio Sleeper Project

I should probably also mention that with the Alclad you will not get the real bright and shiny chrome finish that looks like the chrome plating on plastic models. To my eye I think it looks much...

Re: W900 Studio Sleeper Project

I use Alclad II lacquers fairly frequently. They work well if you take your time and really prep the surface. Sand through at least 2000 grit, even finer if you can. Make sure surface is clean....

The FCC ID on my 4YWD is: AZPFHSS1-24G.

Don't know if all 4YWDs have the same id number or not.

Re: KH Beam Hauler

Picked one up today. Does indeed work well and I'm pleased with it. Only issue is that the blade clamp screw keeps working loose. Nothing that a drop of loctite probably can't fix. Great little...

Re: KH Beam Hauler

How do you like the little chop saw? Is that one of the Micro-Mark ones? I've got a project I'm planning that is going to call for a ton of brass cutting and I'm thinking of getting one.

Re: Custom build of a Kenworth C509 as autralian roadtrain

Your assembly/soldering jig is terrific. Who makes it or what is the brand name? I want to see if I can find something similar here. Very nice brass work.

Re: KH Beam Hauler

Thanks for reply, I asked because the lighting in your photo made the hubs look alot like some rims I tried 3d printing some time ago. Was going to ask you how much effort it was to smooth them out...

Re: Great Dane excavating co.

Beautiful work! Do you draw up all your plans before starting to cut metal or do you draw up individual parts as you get to them?
