Re: servo and RC system for tamiya king hauler

The FCC ID on my 4YWD is: AZPFHSS1-24G.

Don't know if all 4YWDs have the same id number or not.

Re: KH Beam Hauler

Picked one up today. Does indeed work well and I'm pleased with it. Only issue is that the blade clamp screw keeps working loose. Nothing that a drop of loctite probably can't fix. Great little...

Re: KH Beam Hauler

How do you like the little chop saw? Is that one of the Micro-Mark ones? I've got a project I'm planning that is going to call for a ton of brass cutting and I'm thinking of getting one.

Re: Lindeberg R/C Quarry

Cool, literally, pics. Meant to ask you in earlier post, did you glue that plastic plow frame to the metal quick connect with the loctite 435? Or some other method? I've been experimenting with the...

Re: Custom build of a Kenworth C509 as autralian roadtrain

Sorry for misunderstanding, I was asking about the white block with all the little holes in it that is lying under your bull bar assembly.

Your assembly/soldering jig is terrific. Who makes it or what is the brand name? I want to see if I can find something similar here. Very nice brass work.

Re: KH Beam Hauler

Thanks for reply, I asked because the lighting in your photo made the hubs look alot like some rims I tried 3d printing some time ago. Was going to ask you how much effort it was to smooth them out...

Re: Great Dane excavating co.

Beautiful work! Do you draw up all your plans before starting to cut metal or do you draw up individual parts as you get to them?

Re: Lebanon Indiana "Back To The Fifties" festival Sept 15,16

Glad you liked them. Also have some video but I need to do some major editing as they are very short clips and I have to get some new software.

I used to live in NH in the 90s in Bridgewater near...

Re: What's your favorite tool?

I also have a hot air tool similar to yours and I keep it on a shelf over my main workbench. Very handy in that location, out of the way when not needed and yet the hose is long enough that I can...

Re: KH Beam Hauler

If you ever get rid of an old microwave oven, the metal mesh in the door window is perfect for this use. Most of these doors are held together with a dozen or so screws and come apart pretty easily....

Re: Lebanon Indiana "Back To The Fifties" festival Sept 15,16

Thanks, I appreciate the compliment. This was my first show where I was also able to drive and I really enjoyed myself. However I probably will not be able to make the next show if it is in January...

Re: Lebanon Indiana "Back To The Fifties" festival Sept 15,16

That would probably be me. (Not really all that old, just rode hard and hung up wet!) Anyhow, took some time to process photos so they would be a reasonable size for up/downloading. Also had to...

Re: Lebanon Indiana "Back To The Fifties" festival Sept 15,16

Will be coming to your show, hopefully arriving sometime Friday afternoon. Where in the facility will the set up be? Walk in or is there some place to go first and register?
