The motor /gear box is a Banebots 256:1 P60 gear box RS540 motor. 12volts

The weight of the truck will be about 85-90lbs.....



You maybe right about the slots...they are a bit big....scale...

Awesome!!!! Someone who actually knows what this rig should actually look like...how wide is that walkway??? I have this at a scale of about 18" wide...somehow I think the short front section is...

Maybe it's just me but something just doesn't seem right....half the problem is knowing what it looks like when seen from above and or from different angles...most times all the pics I can find of...

Yup , I see it too...:o....I have this rim on the wrong way OOPS...LOL...valve stem should be on the inside, and yes the rims are 4" with tubes....

First attempt at the small deck/walkway beside the cab and the hand railing. Something about this just isn't right....think the walk way is too wide, trying to build this all without a scale model to...

Thanks!!! Adding the details seems to be the biggest challenge but the finished result is always rewarding. Hopefully it is well built...LOL...one thing is for sure...it is heavy!!! :eek::o

Got some work done on the hand railing for the deck...much the same as the ladders...next will be the side railing and the small deck next to the cab....

Thanks for the link Neil...I was looking at this type of tire when I started the truck....a solid tire would be great....but they are a bit too wide, the height is better though...too bad the tread...

It is alive...well almost...finally remember to get vid of it...funny how tricky it is to hold the camera and radio at the same time,good thing I wasn't chewing gum...LOL...glad the pail was helpful...

The truck is slowly coming together...slowly.....ALM. would be a much better and lighter material to use for a bigger model like this...some day when I grow up I want to learn how to weld...

Thanks IH......being able to cut parts on a waterjet has been very helpful...hopefully more builders will consider getting parts cut on a waterjet or lazer....it is a big time saver!!! The challenge...
