I need to correct myself, the backing plate does have threads as you mentioned but I'm using the adapters for a driven axle, this means the original backing plate is discarded and the adapters are...

I will have to work at it more when I have more time but I just don't think there is the kind of room to work from the back side of the rim once on the axle and truck.

Russ have you ever thought about making one of those sleepers out of a solid block? Eliminate the screws and add some serious heft and traction to a truck.

They are expensive but do look nice. I believe the antennas are spring loaded like the ones I bought from Scale Art and used on my Wedico. I wish the mirrors had 4 legs but that would mean drilling...
