Re: bigfords trucks

Rigid Rc and Lesu offer fifth wheels, I have a Rigid on my truck. I can't say if it's taller than the Tamiya or not but I love mine. You could always cut a piece of styrene (or two), make a spacer...

Re: bigfords trucks

I do love that lowboy! Wish they were a little easier to get a hold of, like pay with PayPal and a week later you have it, like most things work today instead of bank transfer.

Re: bigfords trucks

Have you tried other motors with the gear reduction unit? I think the low gears are the trick but a higher RPM motor like a 35T or 45T would give you a little bit of speed........maybe, might be...

Re: Question About Shapeways "Goose" Peterbilt Parts

1st - 1.32.49
2nd - 1.17.66
3rd - 1.10.66

Multiply them by 3 at the motor and again by 2 at the transfer case.........Holy Smokes, them are...

Re: Walking beams for stock suspension

Beside being able to haul as much as your axles will allow with these they look so much better than stock, the stock springs look so thin and out of scale. Great job.

Re: Question About Shapeways "Goose" Peterbilt Parts

I got my parts the other day. I'm happy with them but there are two sorta big drawbacks. One they defiantly have a grainy feel to them and the other is the top of the hood is smooth, no classic...

Re: RC4WD WTF

Sorry to hear about the broken parts, that is always a bummer. Not having a phone number to reach somebody is defiantly a challenge. As for the shipping time I think 2 weeks is great (China to US),...

Re: Hoarder Special!

Great work Reg! Just curious, what is the ratio of the reduction you have before the transmission and how many turns is the motor (35T, 45T, etc) Speed looked very scale.
