Re: Need help 4200 xl

Next you could check what your pump motor is running at on your TX. Get into the menu and check endpoints. Your pump motor should be on ch 5 (FLP). Mine stock came at 30%, I backed it down to 24%...

Re: Need help 4200 xl

Check your tank fluid level. If it's too low it may cause these problems. Not sure on your oil but it should be kinda thin actually. I'm using the rc4wd oil for now and it is pretty thin and I've...

Yup, you got it. Start the pump and move all cylinders then fill the tank to 1/2-3/4 full or what the suggested fill level is accroding to the manual.

Re: Short box dumper for the kiddies.

Hope so Farmer! If not, dad has another vehicle in the motor pool. Made up a quick trunion mount with some scrap aluminum and the existing bruder pivot. Base plate will also serve as a mount for...

Short box dumper for the kiddies.

Grabbed this shortened tammy chassis/Bruder cab off ebay and thought it would be a nice project to make a little dumper for the kids. Not too much going into it nor is it really going to be scale,...

Re: Short dumper box?

Decided to go with the Bruder. Chopped it up and did a try fit. Also throwing in a 4:1 reduction to slow down the Tammy transmission and some BB filled TLT-1 tires on the back to get some good off...

Re: 4200 excavator issue

I added another 75Ml on top of the 120 or 150 recommended. I had air in the lines when I ran with the manual recommended fluid level.

Re: Short dumper box?

Yea, if the bruder doesn't work out I'm take your suggestion on the plywood and bass wood route. Never thought thick CA would hold up to impacts like a box may encounter, thanks for the tip.

Re: Short dumper box?

Thanks for the Bruder idea Farmer. Gonna give the small tipper that originally goes with the Mack cab. That and an actuator and I should be in business with some fitting.

Re: Short dumper box?

Thanks for the replies. Saw rcp57's great work, just not sure I want to throw that much $$ at it then have kids bash it up, though time is $$ as well. May go the wood route Truckmaker suggested. ...

Re: Rc4wd Excavator questions

Zippy's right there, at most 1 13/16" (46.4mm.) 1/16" less width would still hit fixture I'm thinking though. Could just be mount/installation of block machine to machine. Either way just don't...
