Steve. I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but you can get very small cable from any of the overhead garage door people. I got some from a guy here and it was 1/8" dia SS and very flexible.

Jason. Great shot! That works out to 10 1/2" for scale and looks just right between the truck and trailer. I have all the brass tubing and now just have to get cutting.

Thanks. got the frame of the trailer made and I'm installing the dump screw drive. Made it a tandem ,tandem and not a transfer like I had hoped. To much work to make another box for the FWD. Will...

Simple diode circuit. Hope I explain it good enough.
1 just a motor and if you reverse polarity, motor runs both ways.

2 if you add in down stop switch, motor power will be cut at bottom stop....

Glad you liked it. I started following him with my FWD. He did a four part blog on them and some of his truck pictures were ones that I drove off the end of the assembly line.

Well I got my answer back from McMaster-Carr and it wasn't the one I was hoping for. They won't ship to this side of the border anymore because of the ever increasing complexities of the US export...
