Or create a "contributing" user account ( or whatever you want to call it) for $25 or $35 a year.... and put up a "donate" button. Explain it's to help defray the cost of running the site or upgrades...

I'm thinking the crane carrier is going to need more than a 180 can motor
I used the plastic axle housing with metal innards and the cheap 30a esc...

Frizzen.. I had a piece of square tubing before that was a lot smaller I may go back to it idk.

Yeah Trilliwilli that would give better steering but there isn't enough room behind the axle to do that.
The driveshaft, spring hangers and motor all get in the way...

I used a 180 can motor like that in My Bruder Ram a Ninco NC2 they are out of production now the one you mentioned is one of the replacements. It's not super fast but it drives my Ram pick-up and...

It is kind of bulky but that's due to the aluminum tube.But with that said it is stout and will push the bed up with 8lbs in it. I'm sure it can be mounted in a much "sleeker" way I just haven't...

So I got to work on the driveshafts and the dump drive....I found some WPL driveshafts that fit perfectly into a piece of 5/16 precision aluminum tubing....

Ok.... this was my first RC conversion I did it about 3 years ago... everything worked....but looking back it didn't look the greatest but I learned a lot...

I also wondered where folks get lenses from. I wanted some headlight lens, I'm pretty sure 3D printed ones would be cloudy, never thought about casting them...

RC tank setups I think would work but you only have about an inch from the axle to the bottom of the frame...
I have some 90 degree motors coming for another project but I want to see if they will...

Yeah I have that one bookmarked to refer back to....but yeah I have noway of building that type of gearbox.
I've thought of using a couple of these to make a pair of gearboxes ...

I think the space between your frame rails might dictate what you use...
The heavy duty planetary gear motors are over 100mm long but they have the torque your going to need. The 90 degree worm...
