The truck was originally built in 2001 for the Toy Trucker magazine as a fund raising project. As I am no authority on Wedico, I have no idea which fifth wheel plate it has. I am going to make a king...

Nice find! I was going to warn you not to get a Clausing lathe. Half nut on the power feed was a high usage part that they quit making in the early 80's. Where I worked had one setting for years...

Instead of thread cutting oil, you might want to try bees' wax. Not quite as messy and works just as good in aluminum.
