Re: CHIP TRAILER
Awesome! It looks like the platform is sagging a little though. Easily fixed by running some metal or wooden stringers along the edges of the plywood, to add some rigidity. I like that truck too!

That's a really cool side profile you've got going with this truck. I like the rear fenders. Are you finished reworking the fronts?

Keep it going! You are off to a great start. Amazing how the wheel hubs dress these trucks up. They seem to turn the plastic chrome wheels into polished metal ones. Hard to tell the difference...

Whoa, suddenly it's got a whole new attitude with those new wheels and lug covers! Nice. The paint is pretty awesome too. It looks like it's color changing. Green in one photo, and then more...

Great looking truck. That grille is nice! Something a little different. Just smooth and clean. I like the air breather light bars too. Swapping out that stock bumper will pull it all together! ...

Re: so am i right in thinking?
Two things determine the max force of a hydraulic cylinder. The area of the piston, and the pressure of the oil pushing it.
A note of interest that some might not think all that much about. ...

Looks and runs great! Have you tried pulling anything yet? I'm curious how the motors perform under loads.

Great video, Mitch. One of my favorite dozers on the forum, and probably the best looking RC Deere bulldozer out there. Seems to have great traction and power too.

Re: New Project!
Oh crap. You're right! I was studying the articulation joint so much that failed to see the pivot behind it. D'oh! Actually looks like there is a bearing in there.

Looks nice Stu. Quick question though. The articulation joint looks rigid. Will you make a pivot point for one of the axles, so it can oscillate?

Nice find Mario. I've been using the W.S. Deans micro plugs for a few years now. They look quite similar to these. I love them.
