I appreciate everyone's comments. Egronvold, the turning radius is 32" (81 cm) but the clearance radius - actual space required to turn the truck the around - is 39" (1 m).

I finally have some updates. Finished the front axle assembly and got it installed. I did a much better job on the upper and lower housing plates compared to the rear ones. Experience does help! ...

"Wow!" just is not adequate for your truck. With the paint and low-level photos, you're just missing the engine sound and truck smells to make it the real thing. A great piece of modelling!

Track loaders were very popular up to about 1990, then excavators began to dominate. Not confirmed yet, but I've heard CAT will be dropping track loaders in the near future. Komatsu dropped them...

Tried the easier "fix" first and added a Radio Shack snap-on ferrite core choke on the steering servo lead. The servo uses a large, twisted wire bundle and could only install one bundle through it -...
