Got the boom boxed, and cylinders finished. Now I should get my hydraulic pump up and running to see if there's any leaks on the cylinder tubing.

Cylinder bore is 18 mm and hose ID is 3 mm.

The stick cylinder and all the others will be attach with flanged pins that are bolted to stick.
Those M1.2 bolts are just for decoration, those hose adapters are brazed.

The pressure will probably be 20 bar or more, depending when my cylinders start to leak:o

I made mine wider, they are actually 80mm wide:eek:. I don't like the look of an large excavator that has narrow tracks:)
But seriously, I might cut them shorter later.
I've seen pictures of 374...

Guy's, if I ever get the tracks done and they even work I'll be very happy. But I think I wont even dream of tracks for very long time after they are finished, hopefully I don't get any nightmares of...

Got some track pads done today:)
I decited to make them wider than I originally thought. The machine looks much better with little wider tracks, they are now 80mm wide.

Finally got all track links done. I had to make a fixture for machining the other side and also for reaming the track pin holes.
It's hard to believe that I used almost 2 meters of 100x6 mm plate...

I couldn't make any more excuses not to start making the tracks:o so I started with the track links. I managed to make about 100 which is half of them. And there's still few a stages to do before...
