That is currently the idea. Did a couple practice cuts with a spare track I ordered. The metal cuts nicely with a cut off wheel. Think it will also work with a band saw. Need to make a fixture ! ...

The tracks fit the sprocket . However, the metal tracks are 52mm wide and the plastic tracks are 42mm wide. Therefore, they are too wide to fit, so the next endeavor is to cut 5mm per side per...

Started metal tracks. They need "Dressing" and a little adjustment. Tracks are brittle (wish they would use better material) and therefore need a delicate hand.
