Great job. I think it looks great.
I think the lights could be a tiny bit closer to the edge of the cab, but that's really only splitting hairs here. I hope you don't mind. :)

Just go for it. It's actually easier than it looks. Plus, a new Globe cab costs about $40 these days so if things go wrong the mistake won't cost too much after all. I am really bad at...

Ah.. I forgot to mention the 603. You can get them on the bay too.
I recently tried smd side leds. There are only few offers. These are tiny (slightly bigger than 603 leds though) yet very bright....

What type of SMD leds?
There are a ton of different types. I pick mine usually from the bay (805, 1206 and PLCC leds). The quality is usually ok and they're cheap (don't trust the mcd-specs...
