Re: Metso Lokotrack LT120, Jaw Crusher.
I see now you got a joint for a threaded rod as part of fixing the lower end of the moving jaw. Than one got the possibility for a adjustment, say +/- 5mm should do. manual adjustment is fine

Re: Self etching primer
Etching primer is the optimum on plastics and aluminium, brass, I have never had problems on plastics. Is not that strong concentration of acid in it, just enough for it to bite a bit into the...

Re: Chinese Liebherr 956 & Volvo EC 210BLC
Yeah, that's correct. I've got some experience with the 'Faroe' type excavators, 'RTR' 954 (and similar models Komatsu 270, Cat 336) in 2017, it became clear that they still had some way to go...

Re: Chinese Liebherr 956 & Volvo EC 210BLC
They run, but longlivity of parts varies from machine to machine. Just keep in mind that with relative low cost machines, one must be prepared for putting in more hours, and money, in service and...

Re: New Screening plant by Metal Hobi
Looks like a good design, fine details. At 820 USD, no tax, it's about 20% higher priced than a similar kit made in Taiwan, which is not this detailed, so pricing is about 'normal' I would guess....

Re: New Tamiya Mercedes Arocs 3348
In Europe the actuator kit typically is at about 300-325 USD, no taxes. ESC and other eletrics included.
The actuator is incrediable slow according to the videos, I will stay clear of it myself,...

Re: New Scania Build
Pretty interesting. I know Scania did a try at the North American marked with their trucks back in the 80's, sold a few but did put it on hold after short time. Is it a 'demo truck' at your work,...

Re: New Scania Build
That's right, there is not a single similar panel outside or inside, newest vs older Scania cab;) Just curious, you mean to say there is a new 1:1 Scania in the US?

Re: ScaleArt Oil Cooler
Havn't used oilcooler myself soo far, but it's not a disadvantage if one do. With chineese hydraulics setup's in general , it's often used to reduce the max speed of the pump first of all, to say...

Would advice Servonaut SM3 (easy 'plugg and play', 3-4 different engine sounds), or Beier (more complicated, but higher number of engine souds to choose from) if you already familiar with that unit. ...

Re: internal O-ring grooves?
I use a Iscar Picco tool for internal grooves, paid something like 30 USD. There are many sizes. It has straight corners, function just fine. For a holder I drilled a hole in a square bar, put a...

just a small note, would advice a bigger turning motor, same as the track motors you've got (another gear ratio) Such size gearmotors are the 'standard', and about got enough power (but could be even...

Re: Lesu Liebherr 574 loader kit build
Great looking kit. I've studied the build manual, proffessional step by step drawings, I can see they have but some hours into this.
From what I see, the hydraulic tank is built-in to the rear...

Re: New Truck
I think the thing is that to Tamiya, the 1:14 truck range seams to be kind of a 'sideshow'. Their main products are 1:10 RC cars, 1:24 and smalers plastic kits, a much bigger marked than the 1:14....

Re: New Tamiya Mercedes Arocs 3348
Keeping in mind this is Tamiya's first try doing a tipper, the tipper body looks quite good, a 'universial' design. Bottom plate is sheet metal and the sides and front is plastic. Looking at the...

Re: Rc4wd 870k wheel loader unboxing and review.
One can count the tube as the fill line, say the bottom - half way up the tube.
If one need to put the machine on the side, don't forget to temporary seal off the air intake hose next to the filler...
