Re: My first build
Thanks Nate
The visor is 18 gauge or .050". The elbows don't have a hub or bell on them like copper. I believe they are called weldable elbows. The half in copper was 1/2" id. almost 5/8"...

Re: My first build
Yep been awhile. Got new frame rails and added 3 inches, then I remade the monster exhaust. Wasn't 100% with the look and size of the copper pipe, so I went with some stainless and flush mount...

Nathan,
Just had a thought, the rear window oval shaped? Kinda old schoolish. Might fit with the retro mod look.

Re: 1950 Kenworth Needlenose
Looking good Nathan! Are we not having a rear window? Underneath the stack of tires hanging on the wall is that a hot rod engine?

Re: Drill and tapping Chrome parts
You could always drill & tap, and then screw a screw in it while it is being chromed. When you get it back from chrome, remove screw. Then you'd have some chrome screws.

Re: autobody icing
Good to know. The part that intrigued me was it says it can be brushed on. Thought that was kinda interesting.

autobody icing
Has anybody used this? Saw it at Napa the other day, was wondering if anyone used it, and how it compared to evercoat. Any feedback?

Re: Tracy Reiks 1978 A Model KW. "GETTING THERE"
Awesome build! There was a guy that used to haul a.c. to the hotplant that had this exact same truck in 1:1. I'm going to show him this, he will flip. I Really like the mirror brackets. Did you...

Re: S&M Trucking open for bizz nizz !!!
I was thinking, all you need now is to goto vista print and get some S&M Trucking business cards, then go to custom ink and get some t-shirts made. You'd be all set ready to go. Lol. :D:D

I like the custom rear window. And the hood is cool. Plus being a KW build always peaks my interest. Looking good.
