Re: Prayer's For One Of Are Own..

Re: why?

I believe the cap has or is supposed to have a vent section. If your referring to your setup from Spain I'd call him on it.In my email conversations with them the tank was vented for relieving...

Re: Newbie - Trailer Axles Help Needed

The tamiya axle alone is def not wide enough. You could make some extenders to go on it at the hexes but your suspension mounts and all would be no where close. It would take quite a bit of...

When it comes to my higher end stuff I usually add a few extra items I the packages:

Re: WRECKER PROJECT

Nice looking project, do you have any more pics of the boom unit itself? Is that a homemade piece or a kit from somewhere?

Re: Taps and dies... source/type?

If you are looking more for a decent price set that will work the IRWIN brand is not bad, most places don't stock the small sizes like we use but they can be ordered and they have a kit from...

I've got a great anodizer who does a lot of different parts for me from small to large. The black hard coat is one that I already do a lot of and he will do pricing by either piece work and batch...

Re: Possible Solution For Tracked Equiptment

I assumed the use variables would play a big role, but weight and side load etc i don't think would be as much an issue as in a 1:1, I'd think the areas of constant contact would wear at a lot faster...

Re: Possible Solution For Tracked Equiptment

As I don't yet have any completed tracked equipment myself I'm not positive on the wear levels they actually produce to the tracks themselves. I'm noticing that quite a few of you guys seem to be...

Re: Possible Solution For Tracked Equiptment

Has anyone come up with a print design on these, or what size the final piece would be? I would have no problem pricing out material etc and rates to run these. I'd like to see if I could do a batch...

Re: Knight Hauler Sportchassie CC-01

I like the idea, I've done a few builds on cc-01 but never a build like this. It should be really cool once you get moving on it. Keep the updates coming.

Re: New truck to me...MACK

So here one for you MACK heads out there, the rawhide seems to be a mix of a few models to me. It most resembles a 90's CH series, but the grill doesn't match those? It looks like more of an early...

Re: Where I'm at with my build!

Did you primer the body before hitting it with the paint? That could be one issue with it peeling?

Even after a good cleaning I've seen a lot of tamiya bodies with paint issues from the chemicals...

Re: New truck to me...MACK

Yeah it kinda falls closer to the wedico but even those look decent with tamiya trailers and stuff. I may have to finally bite the bullet and pickup a wedico chassis in the future. If that happens...
