You are correct, all 20 of the LED's have the same value resistors and receive the same voltage. I was unsure on the contrast of the blinker and running lights when I first started, but it shows up...

You might just buy the unit straight from servonaut. Basically, you can run whatever lights you want you just have to wire them up yourself using resistors and what not. The cost is a little more but...
