well i figger out my boom for my crane and it truns out you can get steel tube from any local steel place. if you get .100 squar tubing it works great. but that might be too heavy for your crane. 1...

them center "things" dean are called slip rings i have heard of ppl using ball bearing. i never try my self yet. just make shere you get steel ball's.

most grapple skidder have a winch on them as well. but i would say go with the grapple cus well than you can sit back and hall logs all day long from you lawn chair. keep up the good work.

i would make shere that i would use some thing like nylon as 9W said. if you have aluminum on aluminum it will gull up in no time flat a steel one and aluminum core would work fine but aluminum dose...

ya that bed truck is sweet i have had the chance to see that thing work and man dose it work. 740 cat ADT that is tune up to about 1000 hp and a big bed with 2 huge winches. man dose it sound nice...

joe right a tow truck has a boom and a winch for a reason they should never bean trying to chain out that loader. but i gess they got where try to do the quick fix.
