Re: Bell 50 ton Dumper - ADT
Yep, that was the first to be fitted, but I removed it straight away. I didn't like how the filters in the esc remove the direct drive. It was fine on the flat ground, but whenever I was offroad I...

Re: Bell 50 ton Dumper - ADT
I initially went with the Tekin FSR but it kept trippin out under load, so I then fitted a Holmes Hobbies TorqueMaster BR-XL - it can handle the 12volt battery and is tunable. Really holding up well,...

Re: New Toy
Hi Andrew,
Looking at your pictures it looks like most of the detail is transferred to the model. It also fits onto the Carson trailer nicely.
Ref the breather, mine came with a M5 bolt with a...

Re: Cat Wheel Dozer W/Chains
Yes, i assume it was from Tobias Braeker? The guy with the red wheel loader. He's a nice chap, really friendly and helpful. Being a cheapskate I was trying to look for cheap ways to make the chains !

Re: Cat Wheel Dozer W/Chains
That'll be interesting to see, please post a build thread.
With regards to the your wheel chains, did you buy the gloves to make them from?

Re: DX10T
Hi Kalle, yes I have to admit, it's not the cheapest of radios, but with the functions and modelmatch, its perfect for the way we play. It'll be the last radio you buy.
And its expandable to 18...

Re: Cat Wheel Dozer W/Chains
Hi Mitch, are you mxmaddog on youtube? If so you've got a fantastic fleet.
The chains look good, what method have you used to secure them to the wheels?
Thanks

Yes, very easy. Spektrum patented modelmatch http://www.spektrumrc.com/DSM/Technology/modelmatch.aspx
So once you bind your rx to a certain model memory it'll only ever work on that model memory....

Ari... another project. Fantastic start as well.
I'm really interested on the CNC video, more of these would be nice.
Also, not that I'll ever be able to do it, but how long does it take to...

It is nice (& different! ) and yes its also expensive, but I really hope this is the last radio I have to buy!

That makes sense... I've seen people adjusting the trims turning the lights on and then centering the trims.
I just checked the radio, and adjusting the trims from centre to their far end points...

Re: DX10T
It feels a lot lighter than my other futaba radios. But in fairness to futaba, the DX is built as "robust" as their radios. You can certainly feel the "plastic" in the Spektrum, not that that will...
