Re: RC4WD Sound Unit

So if we watch your Armageddon on youtube we will hear what it sounds like?

I wouldn't mind hearing the other two options if somebody finds a link to a sound file.

I have 3x Futaba 4YWD's, one with a MFC-01, One with a MFC-03, and one with a DMD in a tank and they all work superbly. Great unit but if I get any more trucks I will consider a 6J or 8J or something...

Re: vintage Tamiya Bruiser question.

Supossedly the 750 is ideally for more torque, if you are worried and want to use a Tamiya esc, the safest bet would be the teu-302bk, it has twice the continuous forward current (120A) than the...

Re: A New 1/14TH Tamiya Semi?

Looks good, even raw built! The wheel upgrade certainly makes it look much better!

Bearings aren't expensive, come on Tamiya, it's common place with every other manufacturer!

I am meant to be...

Re: A New 1/14TH Tamiya Semi?

Been available for about two weeks now internationally.

I don't mind it, the bumper doesn't match the huge side skirts though, kind of looks like it's missing a valance or something. Something I...

Re: MFC-03

Here is a rushed video of mine:

It is much better suited to a Euro truck than the MFC-01, it also takes a lot of queues from the MFC-02. Very much an evolution of the unit.

Re: CROSS-RC MC8 8x8 Kit (Re-Post)

Very cool! I have been eyeing one of these up lately. How stiff are those yellow springs?
I would love to make a Rheinmetall HX-81 out of one, but the trailer would be full on if I wanted to cart my...

Re: RC4WD Semi Diff

Just a FYI, Tamiya now do a hardened bevel pinon and cup set for their stock axles:

#56529 4x2 (i.e, one axle)
#56530 6x4 (two axles)

Thinking of getting some as I have a tonne of backlash now...

against the old AM 4VWD unit's.

I get glitching at about 25 meters with the AM sets on my trucks with the antennas extended and...

Re: sloppy stearing in the scania

The factory plastic servo mount makes the servo flex side to side as it has both its mounting points on the top of the rails. It is common to upgrade to an alloy one, I have had to do this to my MAN...
