On this machine the pivot point is on the front axle, some smaller skidders it is in the center. ( CAT 518 skidder )

Just a update, some people have been asking what I have been up to... Well the ski season on the West Coast has been very GRIM this year. Not much of a winter as of yet with the ski hill only open...

Alternative to screw drive !
I worked on a different system for a dump system on my ADT. There is not a lot of room for a screw drive system unless I build a new box, so I worked on a pulley system...

That is a very tight area to run the 850 in Joe. That machine just keeps on running like a Deere. You must give it 2 thumbs up !

I will try to explain,

Max power to the RX is 6 volts
Sabertooth speed control can take 12 / 18 volts : ( to RX )
Hyd pump 12 volts : ( can be turned on/off with a servo or speed control ) ...
