Concidering kits like this and Capo are 10 times more intricate then your standard rc kits. The amount of deficiencies are on par. If a standard kit takes 100 steps to build and you find one problem,...

Theres trays on either side of the motor for mounting electronics. The battery on the other hand... i have no idea where im going to put that.

Yeah i guess you have to realize the more complicated a kit is... The more there is to go wrong. Its still leaps and bounds above buying a Axial or something, as far as scale goes.

I did a little test on a spare piece using some the rust oleum blue i had. The finish of course came out really dull. So I hit it with some rustoleum clear. And this is the end result....

Yeah I wouldnt be very pleased either. I tried emailing Capo directly when I was trying to buy the 8x8 and never got a reply. I just hope I actually recieve the parts......

The painting and priming continues. Its amazing how thin the Tamiya rattle cans go on. I think i have 7 coats before all the sanding marks disappear. Taking my time on the other pieces and sanding...

I may do some sort of exhaust, not sure. The design of the motor doesnt really have a spot where the manifolds would go so it kinda bugs me that way

Thanks Stephan. Capo definately stepped it up on this model. My only real disappointment is the lack of some sort of exhaust. You are correct on the details of the dash. Everything is molded in black...
