Yeah with the scale of the model and locations there is no way you'd get it nailed without reference from stock ones or your own cad.

Looks great and the wood is a great medium for the interior. I have seen a lot of scratch tractor builds in German forums that use wood for that.

That looks just awesome. Slower would be more scale probably but sometimes its nice to be a little fast to get around. You need some solid tires for sure with those impressive loads!:D

Highway 61 had a 1:16 C-65 series of trucks. They did a flatbed and grain bed I think. I have seen a couple of them converted to RC as well.

540 cans are the stock size the Tamiya kits come with. Plain silver can motor cheap and you can get them everywhere. I like the tamiya three speed with gear reduction/low count pinion. I ran mine...

True they are not all the same chemical. I just lumped them into solvents. :) I have used them all and the difference to me was not noticeable so I used the cheapest. :D

You can stretch wedicos, buy them from verkerk (9 euro a pop :eek:), or rc4wd. You are looking for 73mm.
