The cab is mounted to the frame :popcorn:
It turned out to be easier than I expected, I just had to make a bracket so that the cab mounts right to the stock bumper mount on the knight hauler frame....

So true. I think the worst part of the build is going to be the paintjob, I have never had much luck with paint :p

Okay it look's like two 7.2v nimh batterys in parallel, so you could try 2 cell li-po batterys if you have a li-po charger. If I had the batterys dimensions it would help me.

Yes I do plan on making a drag bucket. For the clamshell I'm going to do a triple or quadruple wrap for the closer pulleys.

So I have 1 vote for the first one and 1 vote for the second one now,...

I have not decided what crane type I'm gonna make, I'm gonna finish the truck frame and maybe the wheels before I start on the crane, I will be sure I ask you when I start working on the crane body....

Well, here it goes my first build ever. I want to build a 3 axle 18t crane truck in 1/14 scale, like this.
