Oh yeah...batteries. The Ertl test board has been hooked to a 12v car charger for last two years. :p I hear you on working the motor...you can really hear it labor when all the hydros are idle.

Espeefan: This will be 2WD so don't need to worry about driving front. I don't think it's possible (without extreme machining and expense) to make this 4WD.
