Thanks for the comments guys. The lift axle bend is actually made form a piece of 1/2 solid steel rod that i heated and bent. I had turned it down to fir inside one of Ric's aluminum tamiya axles. ...

That model autocar was introduced to compete with the 359 Pete and the w900 kw. I'm not sure the model. I remember when these came out I thought how much they looked like a Pete As far asthe king...
