hi ,
you need to take all the small 2mm bolts on the outside ring out ( in the deep part of the wheel).
I think from memory it is a 2.5mm socket.
Be careful as the bolts arent that strong and...

I took your advice about the pump , I have replaced all Tamiya electrics.
The post man showed up this morning with 3 big 12v esc,s and a 11v...

got the go ahead to open up the summer quarry again.
someone filled it in due to health and safety requirements, so I have to start again. :cop:

thanks Joe, have ordered a full set of esc,s ( 3 ) at 12v and robbed my road roller build of the dx6 receiver , also got a 11v lipo battery on its way.
so truck will be running at 11v , hopefully...

doing one bit at a time but thinking how it will all work at the end wasn't that bad.

heres a quick video of truck pulling trailer.
battery was flat so sound cuts out and its a little slow.

worked pretty good but will fit a 4:1 box to give it a little more torque.

trailer now has a bit of colour.
pump fits nicely between chassis rails, so now have to make a tank to sit in behind the pump.
I will use a deans plug fitted to the back of the truck so i can plug...

the truck is alive.
had to remove the original gear box and fit a geared motor to give me more room in the cab.
sound card is now fitted and really happy with the polou motor.
can drive all day...

I have a shaft drilled off center that the plate attaches to, two bearings in crusher...

un decided yet , have a 1200 rpm motor fitted but still waiting on belts for drive.
it appeared to work with battery drill on main fly wheel at around 400 rpm.

dont have any pictures of the crusher plate.
what I did to fix the bottom was drill and tap some 6mm holes at the bottom of the crusher plate.
I then used some 6mm bolts ( quite long)...

Ok , suspension was from ebay as were the axels.
wheels came with truck under a dodgey trailer.

ok , colour choice for the truck, real simple.
checked cabinet for spray paint, only had black.
so truck is black.
also sprayed dump in the aluminium.
need to start fitting some exhausts ect to...

Hey joe. I use the mig to do structual things, roll cages, chassis mods.
what ever the guys need. Running high amps and a good sized wire is more forgiving on heavier structual steel.

Im useing 1mm wire at the moment but have several different nozel sizes.
would usualy tig most of the time as I can weld better with it and less chance of burnning my shed down.

got a little more done on the dump truck.

not overly happy with the tipper body, due to a little warping when welding.

No gas for the tig so had to use the mig, blown a few holes here and there...
