I've used alclad, takes a bit of practice, but it does work. I'm still learning how to get it right, but on the upside, if you overdo the the top coat, it looks like old pitted aluminum :D

i havnt got to use mine much, only did the rails before the reno started! i have lights to go under the cab and in the holes in the bunk, going to try painting with chrome paint around...

got the rear fenders back from the paint shop ( a shop vac box in my basement, lol) and they look sweet!

should give y'all a color contrast, the cab will be the same color.

room temperature, in my basement. my paint booth is a shop vac cardboard box set in the corner lol.

used dupli color hi build primer and dupli color exact match paint, tried another primer same result, so i tried painting a new fender with no primer, same result.

tamiya has partnered with carson, i just found these today on the tamiya website. the problem is, there are one of each for you to decide on!
