Re: left over build (Cat 825C maybe )

Nice work, Steve. Looks like it pushes great, with those compactor wheels. Probably digs in better than most rubber tire machines!

Re: First build ,cat D11

Looking good, Cooper! The paint looks great under natural lighting. It must be pretty durable too. The hex head screws have no signs of chipping anywhere, unless you painted them after they were...

Re: Vario Digger in Cat Yellow

Jason, set the pressure while the pump is running at full speed, but the system is not demanding any flow. That's the worst case scenario. It would be the same thing as having a valve open, with a...

Re: Vario Digger in Cat Yellow

Awesome, Jason. I could sit and watch you build all day. The details you add go a long way to making the machine come alive. Great work.

Re: First build ,cat D11

Cooper, your parts looks great all painted up. I was wondering what you are going to do for cab windows. Your first run video is great. The D11 does seem a little slow, but maybe you could bump...

Re: Cutting up a Globe Liner

Berman, thank you. I never did make a thread for this project. It was a bit of an experiment, and I thought I would give it a try to see if I could pull it off. Some things turned alright with...

Re: Wire sizes

Space plays a bit of a factor too. Smaller wire makes it easier to fit inside tight models. The larger gauge wire doesn't flex as much, which makes it harder to work with. I used to run 10 gauge...

Re: Hayes HD dump truck...RCP's style

Great improvement on that rear suspension, Reg. Who needs shocks anyway? You could always machine a walking beam out of solid aluminum too, if you really wanted some serious load capacity.

Re: Spread Axel Cattle Trailer

There were a few for sale not to long ago. I don't know that they were spread axle models, but they definitely are nice trailers. Myself, though, I'd take an end dump, step deck, or lowboy first. ...

Re: so i got this truck.

The crane looks really good! The cylinders are very scale, and from the sound of it, they are also functional? Did you get it plumbed up yet?
