Re: Lebanon Indiana Garden show 2017

Frizzen, thanks for the pics. Looking for the owner of the Dave & Buster truck. I meet him and think the name is Bart from Detroit. Anyway, would appreciate a message if you are him or know him....

Re: Kenworth K100 Super Tanker

Beautiful work on both this build and on your others. What connection do you have to Louisville, Kentucky? Saw it on your trucks.

Re: aluminum tube

What size tube do you need? http://specialshapes.com is a division of K&S that has many more products and sizes than sold at hobby shops. Might try there to see if they have what you need. Also, I...

Re: DXR2 Dozer painted and decals

Very nice detail - paint and decals make it look real.
Can you help with a question about the tracks? What is the pitch - center to center distance between track pins? And the width of the...

Re: new rc4wd dozer

Was not familiar with the TARR units. The video is impressive for a smoker, and I looked up RC Tank Electronics. Their sound unit might be good for a V12 diesel in a construction machine. Thanks...

Re: new rc4wd dozer

Sound and detail are very good. That operator is spastic and a bit freaky! I've not liked smoke units - it drifts out rather than at high velocity and modern machines don't emit much visible...

Re: Volvo HX1 autonomous load carrier. Might be quick and easy to make into 1:14 scale?

That is very cool. If you want a bigger hauler, try this one from Komatsu.http://www.equipmentworld.com/komatsu-autonomous-haul-truck-no-cab/
Similar look, no cab, and goes just as well in either...

Very cool projects! As an option to Shapeways, Brian at http://www.exclusive-rc.com/ has lift axles and many other parts.

Re: LilGiantsConstrCo

Oh, look, it's a right-handed, molecular aggregate re-arranger! Shipping company must have used it incorrectly - usually material goes in the hopper instead of dropping the unit on the aggregate. ...

Re: needle tank vent, open or closed during operation?

Just curious - when the suction fitting is at the top of the tank, is there a stand tube from the fitting down to the bottom of the tank?

Re: Great Dane excavating co.

You talked about it all weekend and now you "gone and dun it"! Good luck. Of course, when you get fancy tools the expectations go up. After seeing the 785 in person, I'm not sure how much "up" is...

Re: Just Playing Around

This is very interesting since I've always enjoyed the extra-long specialized haulers. Take a look at Bo Wallen's beam hauler. http://rctruckandconstruction.com/showthread.php?t=11396
It was at...

To everyone that attended: Thank You! Had a great time meeting and visiting with all. My Payhauler carried its first loads - even if had to dump via the manual-tip method. Learned about a few...

Re: bending aluminum or copper tubing

If the tube is not too large, I've melted lead into it, then reheated and removed (most of it) afterward. Check on safety precautions needed for melting and handling lead. Also, for really small...
