Looks good... but is there enough room for 4 x 3s batteries... wouldn't it be easier to have the tracks and slew on one battery and the pump on another?

Hi Smallhaul,

Both the blue and black hoses have the same internal diamter. I think it 2.5mm from memory.

To be honest, I haven't yet reinstalled the filter yet :o but it will be in the return...

The blue hoses are polyurethane and much more flexible than the black nylon hoses, I will try and find black polyurethane for the final build after paint.

I know it doesn't offer any better performance, but I think it makes it look a little better.... and slightly more like the 1:1 version :)

The engineer and detail was amazing, almost too good to be painted!

Built the pump assembly, again, look at the machining detail, there’s even a support bearing on the pump shaft…nothing left to chance

That's similar to me, I'm going to use a 3S lipo with a standard Esc, connected to all 6 drive motors, forgot to add, I only went with standard Esc as I want it to control the lights etc.

Nice start on the wheels and the tyres look good as well. One thing, you mention a 6S battery., i assume this is similar to what you use in your heli's. 22volts is very high for ground...

thanks for the link Greg, I wasn't sure how strong a servo would be, but with the that gearing setup, i can imagine, very strong!

Time to build the hydraulic rams… everything went together easily enough, although fitting the two scraper seals was tricky…

That's the term I was looking for... its the same procedure as they use for lexan type shells, but the plastic on this is about 2mm thick in places, so very strong. You're quite right, I took my time...

Hi Greg, it seems to be designed to last forever...its one of the reasons for choosing it over the others available, I don't have your skills, nor able to make my own, so I had to go the kit route...
