Re: 1/25 6 Axle Lattice Crane

Awesome work to get that boom done. May have been tedious but the result is certainly worth it.

Re: RELIANCE MERCURY 8001

I think the D35 is only 1mm narrower for size. There is a thread with a comparison photo somewhere but a quick search didn't turn it up so maybe someone else will remember it.

Re: Hello from Azores

Since you are on the euro side of the pond, the German suppliers will have everything you need. Google translate is a great tool. :)

Re: steiger st470

I wouldn't have thought the actuators would be fast enough for steering. Nice work and what are you going to do with the extra room? :)

Re: The Daycab

You can also fill the holes with plastic. Cut thin slices, insert them, use your MEK to melt, harden, cut off excess, sand, then glaze and sand. :) And yes evercoat is an automotive filler.

Re: 1:12 SL-400 Truck Crane

I have seen his tires on some builds and they are nice. How wide are you looking for? The tamiya axles are are pretty stout but not sure I have seen anyone run hundreds of lbs on them.

Re: 1:12 SL-400 Truck Crane

Wow that thing is huge. You must be planning to run solid tires with that much weight! :D

Re: ESC to use?

I'd go with castle creations. The 1/18 sidewinder micro has soft start and braking features, and can do 3s lipo or NiMH and brushed or brushless. Size is nice at 0.95 x 1.72 x 0.4" for only 60...

Re: Gaullee Pa,Always wanted a 9 spd Atlas movin truck

Them tamiya hinges are only good hidden from view. They are functional but look terrible. Dubro hinges have been done with some nice results. There are some brass ones that are real small too. :)

Joe have you seen it since he finished the paint? It is one awesome piece of machinery. I have read his thread 3 or 4 times.

Re: Any one have Info on Linde H40 RTR

Paul, I am pretty sure the Carson one is the one that Willy modified and had some info on his website but his site is a little difficult to navigate.

Re: Dump truck

I have cut n shut some tires and the results have been great. You use insta-cure to tack it together. Have to be careful cause it is instant especially on your skin. LOL. Then you fill the gaps...

Welcome to the board. That should be a very cool crane. I am always amazed at the booms for those suckers.

Re: Links Sticky???

Not a bad idea but I think we all have history with the web and stuff changing or disappearing so stuff will get aged/need checked.
