Re: Dragline Crawler Build

Nice work jim-I know what you are dealing with. Making those drive dog ears on the pad adds a lot of machine work. I spent a week+ making one pad perfect and that is why I made a mold and cast all of...

Re: Capital road

Maybe your pictures are too big. I think there used to be a rule on hear that pictures had to be a maximum of 600 X 400. But now that seems to have gone away. On P.b. you can set the size for your...

Re: 1/16 Bucyrus-Monighan Walking Dragline

That is a nice video steve-It gives a realistic view of just what the operator sees. Any progress on the 1:1 controls? I have virtually real size movements on my dragline controls now and it is a...

Re: Capital road

Mikem-your work site is looking better everyday. Why don't you put this thread in the construction sites? You clearly have a lot of work into this. I can tell you from experience that an outdoor site...

Re: S&M construction open for bizz nizz!

Supermario-looks like your outdoor site is coming along nicely. I enjoy looking at all the different construction sites. Maybe you need to use some exterior plywood on the loading dock, or just paint...

Re: RCP Compound

RCP-after looking at the picture you posted on mikems page, I think it would be nice for you to do a video using the lake with your construction equipment. Maybe a video loading a barge with the...

Re: RCP Compound

Looks like it pushes good for a lite-weight dozer. Your drive motors seem to be a good match for the size and weight of the model. Nice play area-with a lot of dirt to move. Looks like fun.

Re: My New Lathe & Mill

Hi jim-as a non-machinist, all I can tell you is practice, practice, practice and learn all you can. Looks like you are off to a good start. One thing I can say I learned about the tracks. The pin...
