She looks a bit like a really old horse in that one picture.lol Shame to ruin the paint with more welding but an easy fix with an added brace I'm guessing.

The trailer is turning out great Joe. Yes the show is on July 15-16 I believe. I may only attend on Saturday this year but we'll see how things are going in the shop.

Looking good Joe. Most people don't realize how much material goes into building this stuff, especially any type of trailer! Are you coming out here in July?

I'm glad to see you decided to take this on yourself Joe! It looks like it will work awesome in the soil you have there. Better put an extra layer of safety glass on the 850's windshield though:cool:.

Well that explains the "headstone" thing.lol It just seemed strange that it would naturally come to rest on edge under a couple feet of dirt. Mystery solved! I can sleep easy now.:rolleyes::lol:

Joe I have a question for you.I know it's farmland so the soil is very good but I hardly ever see rock in the dirt you dig. How far down can you dig there before you hit a lot of rock or hardpan?...

It's 28x40. I started planing for it in late 09 and had it finished just before summer of 2010. I did most of the work by myself and as money came in from work so it took about 6 months to complete....

I thought I would see what kind of weight could be put on these homemade foams. I put a 40lbs battery in the back of my R18 for a combined weight on the rear axle of 50lbs. I don't know how much more...

The foam I use comes from an automotive upholstery shop. I did the 850KW's fronts the other day and they now work great. I have a home for those mil specs Joe....

If I lived closer I would be there for sure to help out Joe. I'd probably replace the R18 with a Terex Titan though which may not be a bad idea anyway...:D.
