Yours certainly looks better at the back for sure and the removable flap is a good idea. The only thing I would say is the stiching along the side looks wonky, maybe it's just uneavean tension you...

I have one of these too, I used the same colour as well. The canvass top is dyed green, so if you simply soak it in house hold bleach it will look like this...
