The welder or monkey didnt do his welding job properly and you have to pay for a new one how does that work out when its defective ????
I suppose if you clean it up you have a spare tank...........

Once it was set up it took a little adjustment bending the Z rod to the correct length from the servo to tt to get the right tention holding the king pin tight with a fully laydend trailer on it but...

On my 1st truck I put a mini servo inbetween the chassis rail for a clean look and mounted it just in front of TT

Best bet would be take it to a tig welder and see what they say for a nice clean weld and re drill the hole sand it smooth at home and repolish it once done...as it would be a waste of a good grill,...

I just used some double sided tape for a clean look on my aluminium chassis covers for a clean look and easy to remove if I need to get to the chassis......

Ive got two still sitting in there MFU boxs, never fitted them as I dont care for the sound that comes from them , and they shake the trucks screws / nuts loose , and they they take up room other...

Depending on what radio you have you could run another RX and have it in a different model memory like others do when you run out of channels or just but a new radio with more channels...

Why the twin motor set up and are both the ESC's getting plugged into the same throttle channel with a Y lead ?

I know when a friend cut my knight daycab the cab / hood the floor pan was a bout 5-10ish mils inside the cab and the normal bottom mount screw holes were removed fron the front of the wind sheild, ...

on the red inserts they are threaded of the tiny screw to go in then the rim over and then the nut ,
when I put my ones together I use loctite in the screws / insert let then dry then put the rims...

Have a good read thought the forums as your answer has been asked in alot of threads over the years,
There are people that use radios from 4 ,6 , 8 and above with the MFU with no problem

Here are some pics of of my fun build,
Pics not in any particular order,
The front leaf springs were raised and moved FWD , pink shocks on front were removed , the axle moved about 15mm FWD as well...
