Re: Kennecott Copper Landslide

Wow...

They anticipated the slide, and moved men, buildiungs, and equipment...

Thats what seismic sensors are great for. A few little 'slips' before it lets go, and you evac 'just in case' and...

Re: rc mower

OH... a SCALE mower?

Thats another deal entirely. As for a spiral-blade-type mower, you could always harvest the guts of a duct fan... I'm not sure what they call the ones that are shaped like...

Re: So I built a hydraulic pump today

Reg,

If you're going to try for a second edition/incarnation, and might want to dispose of the first, I might be interested, if it can handle water decently, as in a water-cannon pump.

I'd even...

Re: rc mower

RCT,

I had the same thought, but one thing is he'll need to drive the blades with a motor, not with a gear-box from the wheels. Thats why those hand-mowers are so tough to push/pull, the wheels...

Re: Free cargo boxes....

Finally...

Got some time to work on the boxes, pulling the labels and removing the adhesive. Advice: use ronson liquid lighter fluid, and dried-out wipes, or small j-cloth scraps (kleenex is too...

Re: is this a good deal?

Stuffy,

Payment method? Given the iffy nature of this, I'd insist on PayPal unless he can provide known references from one of the forums.

As for Southern Ontario, there are a bunch of the RC...

Re: wooden boxs

*sigh*

When it comes to things like this, scale isn't critical. I'd love it if they offered some of these boxes at a slightly lower price in ~plain~ unmarked boxes...

Or if they would offer...

Re: All redone kw kinghauler

Goose,

Give the loadmaster a break, he probably just loaded the blasted box on sideways, and that label is supposed to face aft. Ye never know with some of these guys... they canna tell left from...

Re: CORVETTE RACING

Wolf,

How will the car get down from the hump of the axle placement to the ramp?

I'd use a secondary ramp; it'd be hinged to the aft end of the axle hump, and just slides on the back door (or...

Re: Where can i get ribbed aluminium or steel sheet?

Hmmm, another idea.

Try the mirror-coating for automobile glass. You may not need the ability to see thru it from the backside, but the reflective aspect to prevent others looking in might be what...

Kenny and Stuffy are right.

Re: Can drive motor affect steering servo?

I agree with the 'choke' idea, aka, a ferrite core.

You often see then on monitor power cables and the like, its that bulge in the data cord. You can get clip-on two-part ones, or simple...

Re: Looking for a great excavator! Anybody know abot O&K RH 6.6

Oh WILD...

I noted that EC-M used the Goldhofer trailer in their 'transport' shots, and thought " Sweet, glad to know I bought a quality trailer that the ~builders~ use. "

Then I noted the...
