When I built my daycab the battery was in the chassis rails and the MFU laid flat under the drivers seat so instead of extending the MFU wires I when to Jaycar ( electronics store ) and grabed some...

I have stock tamiya rear tyres and rims on my bruder race truck and when I turn the front breaks on to lock them for doing burn outs the rear tyres dont move on the rims,
So dont glue them as others...

Have a look at the carson poison motors ( got then in my two knight haulers ) or similar turn motors like rock crawlers use

Im planing on making my own roof clearance lights and using a old servo board to turn then on / off and my question is -
When wiring up the leds as I plan on having then on there own wired to male...

I just find replacing the 3 speed easier a matching planetry and motor better as it takes up less space, and you can still run a MFU...

If your planing on using lowprofile servos just be aware they are a few mm wider and longer than stock servos are no mater what rig you put then in,

If its just for the interor steering wheel a cheap 10dollar metal gear micro servo does the job,

Replacing the motor is the easiest thing to do and it saves buying a new drive shaft to the correct length you need as the GRU will make the gearbox longer.

If you want extra lights most guys that use the mfu run a light modual to run any extra leds ( that can be done in a lot of ways) you need and then run them off a seperate channel...

There is nothing wrong with the MFU's and there are plenty of setting up videos on youtube with a lot of different radios how to program them, the MFU will work with digital and anologe radios........

The tab in the middle of it is the lock which is spring loaded from seeing the video of it so you pull it to open and slide it to any position,
But it wouldnt be that hard to fit a servo to the...

They were the first place I brought my beacons from so long ago and they are still the best ones to buy, this was before alot of the cheaper ones came out....
