You can see where connectors will be in pics above, the 4 bolts on rear transmission cover will be replaced with female connects and ripper/scraper will have seperate male connectors.

Lou, I will have disconnects to ripper cylinders, have Rectus dubble shut off on the rear so hopefully it will hold tight. (also on front to tilt cyl on blade, have to remove...

Weekend update.
Did get new mountings for ripper done, old ones was D8N design making upper cylinder collide with tank.
Here´s one old and one new. The new ones got also a 3´rd arm to make it...

As Greg already said, it´s a 1/8 scale, all models in this section was same scale. The 1/14 had seperate section.

You should try visiting one of the Fasination shows, have only been at one but...

Did get the last connection done to fuel tank (orig. hydr tank) and for upper oil tank (normaly fuel tank) incl fuel caps. Why swapping the tanks? Need all volume to oil system, the smaller one will...

Finaly got the lower hydraulic tank made (did do the copper version 3 times and steel one time). This is made exactly to available space, still made as big as possible (more oil= lower temperature)....

Have been working with internal hydraulic tank, couldn´t get it right done so had to start all over, will post later when finished.
But the ROPS was done to satisfaction, here´s pics when sanded....

Thanks, did have a good weekend got the front doors installed. They are possible to open, need this to start the engine. Some magnetic holder will keep doors closed while running....

Thanks, this engine will run with max 3000rpm (has a 1:2 reduction built in on out going axle) and with a bigger muffler (as big as possible) the sound should be as good as possible.

they are made of normal steel, don´t know quality but not stainless. A couple of mig tacks and then soldered in owen.

Did build a carrier today to transport the D8 out of the house (no, will not be able to run it out, have wooden floor that gets bad). My workshop is located in ground floor but have a 2 step outside...

Thanks guys, the weight now is 410lbs on D8 (that´s dry, just oil will add another 30lbs. The 463 is about 230lbs and designed for a load of +220lbs.

The D8 will have (if I have calculated right)...
