Re: FGD powered rake/leveler on eBay

Saw one of Freddy's Ford tractors for sale too. Who is the person selling all these models? A family member, a friend of the family, or somebody who is a member here?

Re: to dump truck,or not to dump truck

Re: The BIG Model Train Show 2013. (video of local show)

Yes, that's some good stuff! I saw an article once on a modeler who built a layout in O scale, and then used some N scale equipment to represent an 1/8 scale ride on railroad. So just like you said...

Re: Bull It Angus 379 Build "HOT IRON"

Nice work Paul. With the two of them side by side, and the camera being a bit further back, my first thought was they looked exactly like two DCP models lined up. The proper scale look is there,...

Looking good Diesel Chopper! I like your cab guard, combination winch rack. Those short go between fenders are really nice as well.

Re: Tri Drive Winch Tractor

Nice work on that wheel! Do you have previous machining experience? With the way it turned out, I'd believe you're a pro. Now to make another exactly like it!

Re: Then and now

I like the now photos! Brown isn't the typical color I think of, when I think trucks, but it looks great on your King Hauler. The changes you've made are awesome. We need more photos!

Re: All About LED's

Goose, nice job on the electro-mechanical switches to run your lights. Way back before I knew anything about other methods of turning lights on and off, I had the same exact idea. A limit switch...

Re: hyster containerstacker

I like this build! Something totally different, yet easily recognizable by anyone who follows the container moving industry. Incredible reach with that mast. Looking forward to some more updates,...

Re: RCP57's first King...

External BEC would be my guess as well. I see a red and black (power) wire going in, and a servo type lead (red and black) going out, to what looks like the receiver.

Very nice job with this...

Re: Hitec Optic 6 sport 2.4ghz, need help progarmming.

Oh one more thing I thought of. SW-1 on the radio, with a helicopter mix, is what is called throttle hold. What it does is cut the throttle on a helicopter to an idle and hold it there, no matter...

Re: Hitec Optic 6 sport 2.4ghz, need help progarmming.

Whoops, I guess I was paying attention to the wrong page numbers. Sorry guys.

Having looked over the manual though, it looks to me like SW-3 is not a switch that is directly assign to any...

Re: Logging & Construction Equipment

Awesome! I love the CNC machined parts! Maybe someday I'll be able to make something as cool as your grader. Looking forward to the updates, Lou.

I was going to take a peek at this manual, but Joe, the link you provided only takes me to a 30 page manual.... Is it just my computer?

Re: Electronics questions

Mode I has the throttle on the right. Mode II has the throttle on the left. Mode II is the more typical North American radio configuration. Usually it's not a huge deal what you get, for land...

You're welcome! I'm quite a ways north of Racine. I'm in the central part of the state, in a small town called Mosinee.

Re: Electronics questions

If you purchase the right Firgelli actuator, you won't need an ESC for it. They offer some that plug right into RC receivers, which simplifies things a lot.

Re: Electronics questions

In this case you should be able to reverse the polarity to the motor that you need to spin the opposite way by switching the wires on the motor terminals. There are other ways to do it too, but this...

Re: New Transmission required Wedico 740 Dumper

I'd be curious to see what kind of current this motor is drawing, under load, or when it stalls. That could tell you if it's a case of your battery pack not being able to supply enough current to...

Re: Electronics questions

Yes, you can do exactly that, if you like, though if you want to be on the safe side with current draw on the track drive, maybe think about stepping up to the next biggest Sabertooth ESC, if money...
