Other than where the front idlers are I think the thickest material is only 3/16. Most of the undercarriage is 1/8 but all of the body and boom are made from 1/16. I used 1/8 on the base of the house...

Thanks Mike. The excavator is not all that heavy for it's size. It is about 50lbs including a 9lbs lead acid battery.
