The way I mounted mine was a bracket I made and attached it to the top of the axle so the fenders would set low on the wheels but not hit with the movement of the axles and would move with the travel...

A little question
Will a 5mm LEDs from tamiya fmu fit into the duel oval headlamps buckets from gardentrucking. I am going to put them on my truck. But not sure if need smaller LEDs
